zomg. i hate art. have i mentioned that before? well, I HATE ART.
one of my artworks is related to some tulip craze in the 17th century in the Netherlands. seriously, rich people were like, "TULIPS!!!!!" *crazed and obsessive look* they were more expensive than houses back then. seriously, its JUST A TULIP. anyways, all i could find about my artwork was one sentence out it talking about the tulip craze so i had to spend another few hours researching the infamous 'tulip mania'. THEN i had to find a way to relate it to my artwork so it doesn't sound dumb.
anyways, back to much more happier subjects. so today was my mum's birthday so we decided to go to the city for dinner then watch the chinese new year festivities. and we went to WAGAYA. YUMMMM. its this really delicious japanese restaurant near chinatown. it was a little expensive but STUFF THAT i was with my parents and sister. anyways, we ate this really yummy sushi and it was so yummy. it was all juicy (the salmon) and the rice was so nice, and i just cant explain the taste in words. and they have touch screen menus. isnt that awesome. and you can order whatever you want anytime so you can just choose while eating.
after our AWESOME dinner, we went to passionflower at capitol. for those who dont now, passionflower is an AWESOME ice cream store. my sis and i shared a 'geisha san' (green tea and lychee with rose petal icecream with bits of lychee and orange). it was pure heaven. i still crave it. the flavor lingered in my taste buds for ages after we finished it. zomg i love it. its one of the best icecreams ive ever tasted. (i must not taste much ice cream then..)
afterwards, we went upstairs in capitol and looked at the clampy toy games. i wanted this sanrio plushie but my sister wouldnt let me. hmph. then we looked at a bit of the parade but soon got bored so we went home. today was awesome. i love food.
btw, when we were walking to Wagaya, we saw this old lady pushing a trolley wearing a "I (insert recycle sign here) BOYS". hahahahahahahaha. me and my sister was laughing for AGES. but it gets better, when we were walking OUT of Wagaya, we saw the same lady with the same shirt. omg.. it was some old asian lady. i wonder is she knows what that t shirt mean. prob not or she wouldnt be parading it around the street.
